I began a career in Solar Energy in 2002 as a summer intern at Solar Energy International in Carbondale, Colorado. It is here that I immersed myself in both hands on projects and book study. I studied solar house design, photovoltaic and thermal installation and design, natural building, wind energy and more. My first experience with solar was making battery cables for Ed's mobile power station and then installing panels and a LCB for a pumping system. Since then, I have worked with leaders in the industry around the Northeast and Vermont. In 2006, after 3 years of full time installation experience, I received my NABCEP certification. Over the last two years, I have been building the business, installing new projects, continuing to study within the industry. Five years of fulltime installation and design has offered the experience that I need to provide high quality service to my clients.
When I am not working with Solar I am raising my beautiful daughter Annabelle, hiking mountains with the dogs, playing music, or trying to catch up on the dishes.
